Rolling Pines was born after witnessing firsthand the need to help others with alternatives to conventional medical treatments. When I was in the 6th grade, my very active, healthy, always there for me mom, was diagnosed with Lung Cancer. She had never smoked a day in her life. It seemed like out of the blue my world turned upside down. My mother went from taking care of her family to barely being able to take care of herself. I watched her suffer through endless rounds of chemo, hair loss, weight loss, several surgeries, and a reoccurrence of cancer. After 3 years of treatments, she was deemed cancer free, but a mere shell of her former self. There were many days that I wished I could have done something to help.
Years later when I started college, I learned from some of my horticulture courses that there were natural products that could have helped my mom and others like her. As an outdoorsman and proponent of natural products, I became intrigued by the benefits of medical cannabis. My dream of starting my own business started to take shape. Our family farm, with its natural pine forest, was a perfect setting for launching my new endeavor. The name Rolling Pines was a perfect fit, and we are now a fully operational micro cultivator.
Rolling Pines mission is to grow premium cannabis products to help those like my mom, to live happier, more productive lives. Our family business has allowed us to share our story and offer hope to those patients in Mississippi who can benefit from our products.
